Hello,
Below, you will find some basic information about AVG Business editions on Windows operating systems.
AVG license numbers are forward compatible just not backward compatible. Example, an AVG 8.0 license (which starts with an 8) will work in AVG 9.0, AVG 2011/2012; however an AVG 2012 license (starts with a letter) will not work in AVG 9.0. A compatible number will need to be created if you want to run AVG 9.0 (which will start with a 9).
The main download link for AVG 9.0 install file. https://share.avg.com/support/avg9/avg_ … 5a4046.exe
Please note AVG 9.0 has one install file that will work on both 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows.
The main download link for AVG 2011 installs files. http://www.avg.com/us-en/786
Please note AVG 2011 has separate install files for 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows.
The main download link for AVG 2012 installs files. http://www.avg.com/us-en/downloads.prd-avb
Please note AVG 2012 has separate install files for 32bit and 64bit versions of Windows.
If you are unsure if you are running 32-bit Windows or 64-bit Windows, please reference the following:
