Here is the solution I found:

Hex edit the LegitCheckControl.dll file.
At location 0002BE90h
Change 8B 45 D8 –> 33 C0 90
Save the file.

Then Updates and Downloads will work as if your were “Genuine”

Notes:
No Software needed like trixie or greasemonkey.
No Registry Editing
No Disabling of IE (WGA) activeX control in Tools>Manage Add-Ons

So undo any previouse changes!
