yeah, as per martin says, PDC server goes off to internet for master sync (we use the built-in windows ntp.org server).
all other DC’s manually set to use the PDC time.
domain PC’s should automatically pick their time off the DC’s.
We had a situation where non-PDC DC’s kept loosing their time. it was something like they were ran on hyperV, but WITH clock-sync enabled through hyperV, and the client clocks was syncing to the host time. Being as the host was also domain connected, the hosts got their time off the ad servers and it created a vicous loop with timing. in the space of a week, it ended up around 10minutes out from actual time.
disabled the clock-sync feature for DCs running via hyperV, set all servers to use the PDC, and no problems since.
